Half-cut index cards with two holes punched for pencils.

Paper Beads

Paper beads made from magazines. Cut long triangles with paper cutter, wrap tightly around toothpick and secure with white glue. Seal with clear nail polish. Remove from toothpicks and string.

Made for Jennifer Capps, my colleague and friend. This was originally a design that included the verse from Ruth 1:16 (Wither thou goest...). I don't know if it's because I know my Bible, and that verse had nothing to do with a husband and wife; or if I just think that verse in the context of a marriage sounds a little old fashioned and imbalanced... In any case, I decided to change it to Colossians 3:14 (And above all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.). I used ProStitch to design the new verse into the original boarder. It was stitched on 28-count white Aida, framed in a standard 10' x 12" frame.

Camping Pots Pouch

Pouch for our nested camping cookpots. Made from Steve's old uniforms. Drawstring top and cargo pocket on side.
